At Classic Bank, your privacy is important to us, and the confidentiality and protection of customer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. We are providing you with this notice in compliance with federal law and to inform you of the information we collect and how we use that information.

We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us or others; and
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers, except as permitted by law. However, we may disclose all of the information we collect as described above to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions, such as a firm that conducts brokerage, investment advisory and insurance agency services, with whom we have joint marketing agreements in accordance with applicable law.

We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. The bank maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Privacy Principle Policy

Recognition of Your Expectation of Privacy
At Classic Bank, we believe the confidentiality and protection of customer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. While information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customers' trust. Thus, the safekeeping of customer information is a priority for Classic Bank.

Collection, Use, and Retention of Customer Information
We collect, use, and retain information where we reasonably believe that it will be useful (and allowed by law) to help administer our business, provide products, services, and other opportunities to our customers.

Maintenance of Accurate Information
We continually strive to establish and maintain procedures so that a customer's financial information is accurate, current, and complete. Should a customer ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about accounts, please notify us by calling 254.697.6461. We will investigate concerns and correct any inaccuracies.

Limiting Employee Access to Information
Employee access to personally identifiable customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information. Employees are instructed on the importance of customer confidentiality and privacy through training concerning operating procedures and policies. Because of the importance of these issues, any employee that violates customer confidentiality and privacy will be subject to disciplinary measures or termination.

Protection of Information by Establishing Security Procedures
We maintain security standards and procedures by helping prevent unauthorized access to customer information.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information
We do not reveal specific information about accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside the bank unless:

  1. you request or authorize it,
  2. the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you,
  3. the information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency, or
  4. the disclosure is lawfully permitted or required.

We do not provide account or personal information to vendors for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing.

Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships
with Third Parties

Sometimes it is necessary to provide personally identifiable information about you to a party outside the bank, such as a vendor or service company that we hire to prepare your account statements or to provide support or services for one or more of our products. These vendors and service companies agree to safeguard our confidential information about you and your products and services with us and must abide by applicable law.

Classic Bank recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of our customers. We want customers to understand our commitment to privacy in our use of customer information.
